What does "configure termcap" mean? You want to use termcap entries
and can't figure out how to make it work? Well, termap is OBSOLETE
and shouldn't be used. You should convert any termcap entries you
need to use into terminfo entries and add them to the terminfo
database. See 'man terminfo' and the other pages it refers you to.
