How can i do that? If you want to get rid of Windows, try running Oracle on Linux. Oracle offers it for free download so you can give it a try. No porting necessary. If you want to give up both Windows and Oracle you may find that PostgreSQL is a better choice than MySQL. Either way, depending of its complexity, you'll probably have to port your application.
