Hi,
The error loading shared library is not normal.
If the error remains after a clean shutdown/restart, I would
find the fsck package on the cds and do:
at the /cdrom/RedHat/RPMS# prompt:
rpm --verify fsck*rpm
and then take it from there.
It might be that the libc.so.* file got damaged in the process.
