I still haven't solved my pcmcia problem on RH 7.2, I may try installing 7.3 just for grins before I go back to fighting with it.
The reason for this whole exercise is to get ssh capability on my laptop so I can use it to work on a couple of servers instead of using telnet. Is there a package that will allow me to put some kind of ssh on my laptop that will work with RH 6.2? I tried rpmfind but everything had dependancies with versions later than what I've got and I didn't want to start chasing my tail with them. Any ideas? Or, if anybody knows how to solve the lockup problem when it loads the pcmcia modules, I'd take that too! I found the pcmcia how-to, it mentions the problem and says it may be an interrupt conflict but doesn't say much about how to fix it.
