Hmm... I just did this on my 7.3 machine last week. All I did was run authconfig and set SMB authentication to use my Windows domain and Active Directory servers. No kerberos, no LDAP, no /etc/pam.d/* modification. On a side note, it seems to only have modified /etc/pam.d/system-auth, not login. Cheers, -- Javier Gostling Ingeniero de Sistemas Virtualia S.A.
