You need to boot into DOS from a floppy disk and run the MBR restore
option of FDISK.  If you boot with Windows or MS-DOS version 6 or higher
(I believe it is), type "fdisk /mbr."  If you are using DR-DOS or Novell
DOS (which is essentially the same thing), start FDISK in the "expert"
mode by typing "fdisk /x."  One of the options in the menu that is
displayed will be to restore the MBR.  Select that.

        In the newer versions of PC-DOS, MS-DOS, and DR-DOS/Novell-DOS, typing a
command, followed by " /?" will produce a list of the options for that
command.  In this case, type "fdisk /?" for the help screen for "fdisk"
