OK, enough.

1. All the floppy disk images really work (except if the floppy disk is
crappy).
2. If you have a lot of troubles doing the instalation this way - try the
other ones (network install (ftp/http), NFS).
3. when installing from the HDD, what was the file system you put the ISO's
on  (FAT?) ?

btw, http/ftp install work (it ever did) seamlessly.
