RH kernels are so heavily patched, its hard to compare them with raw
kernels. I've seen RH kernels that had patches which were later
accepted into the mainstream kernel. In which case, the RH version was
older, but had some features integrated that were not yet available in
raw kernel source. In short, I would either not worry about (IMO), or
just go get what you want from kernel.org.
