I have an RH7.2 system sitting behind a PIX firewall and I need it to
resolve the mail server hostname so it can send email to internal accounts. I
have the mail server listed in /etc/hosts with the internal IP, however
sendmail still resolves the hostname to the external IP. Any ideas what needs
to happen so that sendmail resolves the mail server hostname to the internal
IP, not the external one?
