I use a KVM switch with my windows box and my redhat 7.3 box. Today when
I booted up the RedHat box, the mouse seems to be frozen. When I switch
back to Windows it's also frozen. I reset the mouse (it's a logitech
cordless) and it works fine in Windown. I switch KVM to RedHat and it's
frozen again, and will require a reset in windows also. The setup I have
has worked fine for months, can anyone explain what I'm seeing? The
mouse has brand new batteries too.

Also, one thing that seems odd about the gnome desktop is that if I lose
the mouse, I can't even shut down the system, at least I've not been
able to find a way to do so. I ctrl-alt-del to the shutdown/logoff
dialog, but nothing I can do with the keyboard will move the focus from
the OK button. So all I can do it hit enter and log in again. Or hit the
off switch. Must be a way around this???
