Yes, they pulled the building part out of rpm and created a new binary
called rpmbuild which takes mostly the same arguments.  So, try
"rpmbuild -ba <specfile>" and you should be OK.

This kinda surprised me, too.  RPM has diverged quite a bit between Red
Hat and SuSE.  Not sure where Mandrake or other RPM-based distros are in
relation to the version used by Red Hat.
