Hi I've got a disk image of a Red Hat 7.3 installation that works fine until I patch it. When I lsmod the kernel before I patch it I get these modules:-
After I patch it just these:- So get the source & rebuild the kernel, but when I look at the Makefiles, with make xconfig things can not be right. I do have a working vfat partition before patching but the Makefile says no support in the kernel. Is there a saved file to load the current config or do I have to experiment until I work out a Makefile that produces a kernel with the same support.
