It's not entirely clear to me what you intend to do - do you want to have
the ^ on another letter (e.g. ô)? If so, on my Linux box I can do that by
typing Shift+AltGr, then o^ (as an example). I'm using a US layout, however,
so I'm not 100% certain whether this applies to your keyboard. Maybe
somebody else can fill in?
