I've recently upgraded to 8.0
The few problems I had was a Kernal problem and a
problem with apache. Apache 2.0 wouldn't take my old
httpd.conf
Took me a bit to figure it out. I also had to edit the
php.ini file to turn of Safe mode. Other than that, I've had no
problems. Been running a week strong now.

I agree.
>How does mutt handle html only e-mail.
You get a line of text that indicates that there is an attachment that
mutt cannot display internally. You can press [v] then [Enter] to launch
the assigned viewer or you can do what I do: press [Del] and move to the
next message.
MSN users are the biggest victims of this kind of mail client
misconfiguration. For some reason MSN does not include a text/plain part
by default.
>How does mutt handle replying to combo plaintext/html e-mail?
It displays the text/plain part when reading and only includes the
text/plain part in the reply.

For posterity:
Compaq 3000s of this vintige use a cirrus CLGD5430 chip that appears to
hav e abuggy driver in the redhat 7.3 X release:
XFree86 Version 4.2.0 (Red Hat Linux release: 4.2.0-8)
I added Option "noaccel" to the XF86Config-4 per the comments in the
same file and bingo a usable display.

I used to do that, but the few HTML-only messages that I want to read are
not completely rendered by character mode browsers. Instead, I configured
my GUI browser as the text/html viewer.

Hi guys,
I am a newbie. I have just installed RedHat 8.0 and I could not get the
dhclient to start automatically everytime the machine reboot. I made sure
that the ifcfg-eth0 file has entry:
bootproto=dhcp
What else should I do?
Thanks

For some unfathomable reason, this utility insists on starting with its
default settings instead of the last settings. It's annoying as hell and
should be a bug IMO, but I can't recall if it's been bugzilla'ed.

Hi,
I have experimented with the fonts in Konsole, and then mc is displayed
properly. I selected in Konsole -> Settings -> Font -> Custom ->
Lucidatypewriter Regular 9, and then mc displays properly.
Success.
