Frist - Upgrade to a 2.4 series kernel, (if you aren't running one
already) because IPTables is superior to IPChains.

Second -  Get Shorewall: http://shorewall.sf.net.  

Tom is a nice guy, and they will support you.  You will need to _read_
the documentation, but a little patience and some reading and you will
be fine.

It doesn't take long to setup, I had my first installation running in 25
minutes. But I want to emphasise reading the docs, and trying to conquer
your issue before writing for help. =).
