Hi,
I just installed Samba 2.2.7 on a Red Hat 7.2 machine. There were no
errors during the installation. But I can't start swat. When I go to
http://127.0.0.1:901, it says access is denied. This is in a Mozilla
window launched by root. I think I've set up all the configuration
files, like /etc/xinetd.d/netbios-ssn, /etc/xinetd.d/netbios-ns,
/etc/xinetd.d/swat, /etc/services, /etc/xinetd.conf, and
/etc/hosts.allow. Samba appears to be running, according to
/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb status. What else can I check? Thanks,
Hidong
