sendmail is an MTA = Mail Transfer Agent. It doesn't care about folders
on sending mail - that's the job of the MUA = Mail User Agent. imap
doesn't care about where sent mail gets stored - that's not its job
either. SquirrelMail, which I've never used, either has the option on
where it's saved or it doesn't. I've seen good and bad MUAs and their
handling of where sent mail should go. mutt gets it right. Outlook
Express gets it right. Eudora and Outlook XP both get it wrong and ask
you to write outgoing mail filters (yuck!).
