Thanks dude, the guy is obviously a smart ASS and I doubt if he has ever been laid hence his force sense of elite ness.
I was being lazy as I was working on something else and I didn't have access to the MAN pages and I forgot 1000 was the "t" mask for the sticky bit. I'm a very competent UNIX and PC System ADMIN and I never replied to this jerk as I didn't want to give him any CRED.
I suggest he reads a manual on human interaction, ;)
