Hey gang,

        Got home.  
        Booted install disk "linux rescue".  
        Mounted up filesystems.  
        lilo'd... "error /boot/boot.b not found" (or some such)
        Looked around, /boot was empty - aparently the original problem
somehow nuked /boot
        recompiled kernel, modules, the whole works, but boot.b still not
there.

        Can anybody tell me how to get boot.b back, or am  going to have to
reinstall?
