I've though about the zaurus before but there isn't a retailer around that actually
handles it, which would help my decision. I'd love to test it out but can't like I've
done with the palm, ppc. If there was a emulator (that a newbie wouldn't have a
problems installing and working with) I would love to test it out!

I've also heard of an OS that will install on IPAQ that's linux based but I don't know
if I could install it correctly as I'm not a total ex-windows user YET. I've heard of
some WWW that sell it WITH the new OS but I can't find any links. And i'm still having
some difficulty with configuring Samba!
I also see on the OpenZaurus OS that konqueror is installed instead of Opera... Is
there a mozilla browser or one in development.
I'm also wondering about playback with mp3 (from 128-->320kbps), images and other
multimedia... What about documents.. Do they have to be converted into usable formats
such as with palms or saved in native formats that say openoffice can use.
What about the email client. What email clients will in sync with? Will it sync more
than just the inbox of a client? Import filters?
How about syncing with windows, I saw that it will with intellisync? How well does it
work?

Is there anybody who has actually bought a zaurus and if so what model#? (I'm looking
at the 55** series, something for like $500 CAN or preferably less) What did you think
of it? Was it user friendly? Where can I find other software for it?
If you can help me out in my decision I'd greatly appreaciate it, if you don't feel
like posting a response through the mailing list, my email address is there and if you
want to talk through an IM client I will give you my AIM/yahoo/ICQ nickname and we can
talk..
