I found my Zip support on the Ga Tech mirror of Red Hat's ftp site. There
were several files there pertaining to both Zip and Jaz. For SCSI support,
the How-To said I basically had to do nothing after connecting the drive (I
have an old NCR SCSI card, by the way) and they were right.

My Zip drive is the Zip+, either parallel or SCSI. I paid far too much for
an adapter from mini-scsi to parallel because I wanted it NOW; as soon as I
hooked everything up, the BIOS/SCSI adapter recognized it. I did have to
set it up in fstab; the Zip was the third scsi drive -- sdc. For some
reason I have yet to fathom, to mount the drive as vfat-compatible, I have
to call the disk sdc4. However, for ext2, it is sdc1.

Anyway, the point of this ramble is, you should be able to find help and
software on Linux-friendly ftp sites. The Georgia Tech site seems to
always be available. Red Hat's is often busy.

Good luck.
