Hello All! I have a problem with ppp and local host name. Whenever I connect to the internet, my local host name is changed and after disconnection, the changed local host name is remained. My original local host name is "root@localhost", but after I connect to the internet my local host name will be "root@DIAL4-ASYNC10" (It is different each time such as root@DIAL2-ASYNC33.) As a result, I can't launch any application. I am using RH5.1 and configured using netcfg. I didn't change any file manually. Could someone tell me how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance.
