I have 2x RH4.2 systems. One is a router for our net.
Now I want (MUST) to link other RH4.2 system to the router. So I have to make a server and a client for ppp.
I don't use a modem (only a serial cable). I read in ppp documentation that it is possible.
I installed ppp modules. I made a special ppp user. I tried to configure
the /etc/ppp files but...
Please tell me the first steps for ppp configuration !
I read something like ppp_HowTo, Readme, Readme.linux but I am confusing.
I want to know how can I begin ?
I have some experience with Linux so I can undersand technical terms.
Any help is realy apreciated. Thank you!
