Cody,
I've been using IBM Advantis as my ISP with Linux for several years with no
problems. I use dip to make the connection and SLIP as my protocol. I have
attached a sanitized copy of my dip script as an example. IBM has SLIP and
PPP dip connection scripts for Linux posted somewhere - I don't remember where
but that is where I got my examples. I suggest that you try SLIP since it is
simple and efficient. You will need to make sure that your local access
supports SLIP and/or PPP connections. I have been very happy with IBM
Advantis as an ISP.
BTW, I have a daughter that lives in Laramie and has a daughter account on my
Advantis account. Stop by Jeffery's sometime and say hello to Dannine. If
you need a new bicycle or your bicycle serviced, her significant other owns
the Pedal House - say hello to Mike.
