I am converting my systems from Slackware to RH 5.1 and set up my RH ppp
using a working DIP script.

RH was refusing my dynamic ip and trying to send my bogus 192.x.x.x ip to
the providers system which would then terminate the session. Everything
worked fine after putting ipcp-accept-local into /etc/ppp/options.

Could someone tell me why the system is trying to override my dynamic ip
and if the options file is the proper place to fix it.

Thanks
