Chris,

1. I suggest you go and change your password right now to your ISP, as
you just sent your username, Password and a PhoneNumber to who knows how
many people on this mailing list

2. do you have the directory /proc ?
that is what is is winging about. by default it should be there, but if
your installation is corrupted, then you have got some problems, and I'm
guessing that a re-install will be the only thing that is going to fix
it, someone may know another way out of it though.

Okay, I found my logfile. I snipped out the ppp-init script (attatched).
The only
problem I can see is:
Jun 23 23:55:39 wopr pppd[434]: proc file system not mounted
Otherwise, it looks fine.  Advice, please.  Thanks again!
