Why are you trying to connect using minicom?? Do it the easy way...Use
the ppp chat scripts. Or better yet, use the RedHat netcfg tool to set up
a PPP interface.
Under the "Communication" section of the netcfg tool, hit the "apend"
button. type in the first prompt your ISP sends under "expect", then type
in what you are supposed to send back (your username or password, for
example) under "send". Do this for all the prompts of your ISP (sounds
like you only have 2), and it should work. Just activate or deactivate
the interface using either the usernet tool, or the netcfg tool (need to
be root to run netcfg).
