The first time I installed Red Hat 5.1 I didn't get this message when I
tried to start a PPP connection

This system lacks kernel support for PPP. This could be because the PPP
kernel module is not loaded, or because the kernel is not configured for
PPP.

I just reinstalled and now I am getting the above message about the PPP
kernel. I have tried reinstalling several times both selecting to install
everything and I have tried to selecting the just defaults. I normally
never change the daemons that should start when Red Hat is started I just do
with the defaults.

Anyone know what I should be doing to get pppd installed during the
installation or how to get it working after the install is complete?

Thanks
Ken
