They had a third catcher in the ALDS. I forget his name, but they
decided to drop him and carry Timlin in the ALCS.
I agree with Chuck, When we score 8 runs, we should win the game.
Beckett sucked in the ALDS and the ALCS. Maybe Tito is saving Byrd to
make the next Beckett start. I think we had a better chance of winning
last nights game with Byrd starting.

They had a chance to bury this team in a 2-0 hole. I don't give a shit
about saving Papelbon for game 3 or saving Byrd for game 4. For all we
know those will be blowouts and their participation won't matter. It's
the freaking ALCS. You win the freaking game your playing now.
