I always figured it was a slam-dunk.  I can't believe some people
thought others could possibly get it.  And I don't think it's because
I'm a homer for a Sox guy.  His all-around numbers are phenomenal as
compared to his peers at the time.  In other words, his rank among other
AL players in each of the categories is very high, if not first place,
like hits, doubles, gold glove, etc.
