Favre sucked. Those INT's were college and rookie mistakes.

Bard should be a bit of an upgrade over Tek at the plate (how could he not be?), and they'd probably both be willing to share the catching duties. And when Penny is healthy he's a very good starting pitcher -- probably in AJ Burnett's class with much less financial risk. -- I really hate the overrated Brett Favre. He's now screwed the Pats twice -- the only time New England has not made the playoffs in the Tom Brady area -- by lying down in a season-ender at the Meadowlands. And now I have to boycott ESPN so as not to be subjected to the endless WHO GIVES A RAT'S ASS speculation about whether or not he'll retire. He's washed up. He hasn't been any good for a decade. Aaarrrrgggghhhhh. -- Speaking of rats, Mangenius got whacked this morning. As a onetime cast member of the Sopranos, he deserved this kind of Jersey-style justice. -- But it could be worse. Pitchers and catchers report in less than 60 days, and if you have a winter sport of choice, the Bruins and Celtics are value for money these days. -- Matt</table --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Red Sox Citizens" group.
