I am happy to hear that Varitek will be back next year. There are not
many options out there for catchers. Varitek is an above average
catcher that handles pitchers well. I think there is a good chance we
will see better production from him this year than in 2008. He hit .255
with 17 HRs in '07. I would be very satisfied if we got that level of
production from our #9 hitter.
I'll bid 3.
