Yea, my thoughts went like this:
 
1) What?  Are you crazy?  Take Ortiz out of the lineup in a tie game?
 
2) Hmm.  Maybe Rocco Baldelli would be a little faster and a better
choice anyway.

        It is an interesting question though.
        
        One other consideration is perhaps a better bat as a runner for
Ortiz for potential extra innings. It's not like Papi is any kind of
