Ummm, "not-closely-related-to-age"???? Really? I'd like to see a
distribution curve on that. But ... this is a Red Sox site.

In fairness, kidney stones are not really closely related to age. I
know teenagers who have been hospitalized for this ailment.

Dear Theo: This is what happens when you shell out big bucks for
guys who are nearly AARP eligible.

Hope Cameron gets better soon, though. That's gotta hurt.

According to ESPN Boston, Red Sox OF Mike Cameron
<http://prlb.baseball.cbssports.com/players/playerpage/7488/mike-cameron
> is returning to Boston to meet with team doctors on Friday after an
initial diagnosis made in Minnesota showed a possible kidney stone. "I
spoke to Cam last night,'' agent Mike Nicotera wrote in a message.
"Seems to be a kidney stone that he needs to pass. He's going to follow
up with doctors in Boston [Friday]." Cameron was scratched from the
starting lineup before Thursday's game after complaining of lower
abdominal pain. He was briefly examined by a Twins team doctor before it
was determined he should remain behind. Initially, it was thought
Cameron might have had appendicitis.
