The Yankees are apparently the front-runner to get Cliff Lee from the Mariners. 
And the Yankees, Rays and Sox are
all interested in Jayson Werth of the Phillies, if they make him available.

The Lee thing doesn't bother me too much, as he has terrible numbers against 
the 
Sox and in Fenway. The Werth thing I don't
really understand, unless either Ellsbury and Cameron are both worse off then 
is 
known. He is a FA at the end of the year, so
I guess we'd be renting him. Not sure if he can play left or center. But I like 
him a lot as a player - he can hit, has power, is a
good defender and can run. Werth-Ellsbury-Drew would be a pretty good outfield.
