Would it be fair to say that most of us were pleased the Sox got Crawford because it showed a commitment to winning, but that we also warned that, although he could do things to help the team, he didn't really solve a problem. They needed a right-handed power bat and instead got a left-handed speed guy who doesn't like to lead off.
