Yes, Hamels tried to catch a line drive by Gonzo back up the middle, with his 
right hand. Apparently knocked his glove
off and bruised his hand.

This was due to several circumstances and not unexpected considering his slow 
start.

Specific to game today - I just looked at box score and notice Hammels only 
pitched 4 innings - 0 ERA.  Did he leave due to injury?  We are up 5-0 in 9th 
so 
looks like Lester will finally get his 10th win - long in coming as he was on 
the brink of being the first to reach this mark about 3 starts ago.
