That's the interesting thing. His trades acquisitions are great but his free agent acquisitions not so much.
You think it'd be the other way around, that the Sox would have had to endure some serious fleas on guys they HAD to acquire at deadline. But he's done pretty well there. It's when they have too much time to think that they get into trouble. And toss Daisuke onto the heaping pile of free agent poo.
