Theo's earning points with Chicago media for flying down to Florida to fire his manager face-to-face and for calling God (aka Ryne Sandberg) to tell him that he wouldn't be interviewed as a potential replacement. The list of manager candidates is identical to the Sox', btw. No surprise. As an aside, the Chicago Tribune does a smart thing. They've bundled all their Theo/Cubs coverage into a single book and are selling it on Amazon. Don't know how it's selling but it's an interesting use of content.
