OTOH, for them to win 90 games with only 2 starting pitchers, seems pretty good
to me. I also think some of this 0-3 may be that
the Tigers are really, REALLY good. So props to them for beating up on us. So I
am not yet ready to concede anything. Especially

knowing that Dice-K will be back in a couple of months to save us!

Oh, and the Yankees, with their phenomenal starting pitching, are 0-3.

It may well be that we got too clever in our explanations of the collapse of
'11.  We spent our time talking about clubhouse chemistry, and chicken, and
beer, and how Tito lost the club, and all this bullshit.

When perhaps we were simply witnessing a lucky team who was returning to the
mean.  It may well be that the Boston Red Sox in 2011 won exactly as many games
as they could have been expected to win given their talent.
