And he has publicly said he doesn't like being the closer.... Seems to me that's half the problem right there.... I wonder if they should make Morales the closer and move Ace back to the 'first man out' role that he fills so well....
Just seems like making Bard the set-up man is a waste. If you're going to make him the savior of the BP, why not just make him the closer? And Thomas is just horrendous, it seems like we'd be better of with another righty until Rich Hill is ready....
