I have to say, there has been some talent in the minors. Middlebrooks (future 
starter), Nava (off and on but probably a good bench player),
Iglesias (if he can just hit .230, he can play SS), Cse-Hsuan Lin (chance to be 
a good player). And some pitchers in the lower levels, too.

The Mets recently played a game with the 9 starters in the line-up home-grown. 
Of course, they won on a walk-off hit...

Day Sunday, the two of them hitting fifth and sixth for the big club this soon 
-- never mind their production -- would've been laughable.
