What about the very real possibility that he turns in a sub-.500 OPS and is literally the worst hitter in the majors? Yes, it's fun to watch him make a few great defensive plays, but you don't think his ending rally after rally (with the lucky No. 8 hitter drawing 100 intentional walks), will grind on you? A poor man's Rey Ordonez? So, no, I would not be satisfied just giving the job to Iglesias and moving on.
