I wonder who these 'sexy' guys were. If it's referring to Gonzalez and 
Crawford, both of them had great numbers until they joined the
Sox. So I don't think you can make a case that either of them were 'just' sexy, 
marketable guys... They certainly had game prior to
joining the Sox. I certainly liked the Gonzalez signing a lot. I was okay with 
Crawford, with the assumption that Ellsbury would be
traded or leaving after this year.
