I think that there are many sides to this theory.
Plenums vs. Sand vs. Bare bottom...
I'd wager that they will be around a lot longer
than one would expect. Deep or not - the sand
movement is upon us. And it is working.
What I'm wondering if the reason they work at
all is due to the sand and live rock combination.
That would explain why it is working around all
the different permutations that are out there.
Some use 2" others 4", etc...
