If you had any books on reef fishes, like Scott Michael's book "Reef
Fishes", you'd know all about them. They need to be fed 2 or 3 times/day
with meaty foods like brine and finely chopped shrimp. They need to be kept
singly or in harems, much like the other fairy wrasses, and should not be
housed with conspecifics unless your tank is very large. If they are kept
with agressive tankmates, they will not eat and will starve, and have a
terrible habit of jumping out of open top tanks. Nobody ever heeds that
last warning, and too many people have had scott's fairy wrasses dry up on
their rug... It's a beautiful and tempting fish to keep in your tank, but
if you are not prepared for it, it will not live.
