I have discovered what appears to be some sort of sea slug, light orange in
colour, flat, frilly and about 1 inch long and of nocturnal nature.
It appears to have laid eggs, several rings of many hundreds of eggs in the
same frilly pattern that it has on its sides.
The adult has done a very professional job of clearing slime algae from the
surrounding rocks to the eggs so if they are harmless I would welcome some
assistance in the algae removal department. However if they are likely to be
nasty, coral munching beasties they need to go before they hatch. Any
thoughts?
