My first guess (and this is a total guess) is that it was a hermit that had
outgrown its shell. Have any hermits in the tank?????

I thought all the life in my aquarium besides the live stock I
bought
was dead. But this morning I found a strange animal walking on the
bottom of the tank he was maybe 1" long. It was all white and had
two
claws up front one was larger than the other. It had six legs (I
think)
immediately behind the two claws. then the body seemed to get
smaller
where the second part of his body connected (sorta pinched in). The
second part looked like the tail of a shrimp. This was a very small
animal no longer than an inch and all white or yellowish white. Any
ideas? I am guessing it is some kind of shrimp. It did not swim
only
crawled along the bottom and then into a rock. I hope all this makes
sense.
