I have had a slight cyno problem for the past two weeks. I have a 55 gallon
tank, and did a 12 gallon water change two weekends ago, a 3 gallon during
last week, and another 3 gallon over the past weekend.

The temp is 77, specific gravity 1.024. Nitrates <1ppm. Alkalinity
2.5meq/L. I know, I know, I need to get my alk up alittle... I'm working on
it!

I added two more powerheads to the tank when I did the 12 gal water change.
I have not added any additives for about 2 weeks now (not after the 12 gal
water change). I've just been dripping kalk continuously (from an RO/DI
unit) and adding KH builder during the day.

Any ideas on how to get rid of the cyno?

Thanks...

Tim
