Chicagoland Marine Aquarium Society's (CMAS) monthly meeting is this
Saturday, Feb 17th at 1pm at our regular location in the Schaumberg
Library. We'll have a talk by Dr. Kevin Novak, an ichthyologist and
liminologist, who will discuss the various ways filtration of tanks has
been done in the past and some technologically new ways to filter out
nitrates; how to improve filtration in existing systems without spending a
fortune; and a bit on microbiology. This holds the potential of being a
controversial meeting, since many people have strong opinions about the
best filtration methods!
